Our boys are only 7 months apart (adopted from China this summer) and everyone thinks they are twins. I used a pattern to make the shirts and pants and just added the circles--they are made of felt. I used the roll of stuff that turns things into iron-ons. Then I finished using fabric paint. I outlined the words and numbers with glow in the dark paint. The wigs are official Thing 1 and 2 wigs from www.amazon.com! The boys had fun!

My friend and I decided to be Thing 1 and Thing 2 for Halloween 2011. Costume is pretty simple, but cute. Tried to dye our hair with blue hairspray (kind of worked, but it makes your hair really stiff, so try avoid touching your head...). It was either that or buy a 50 dollar wig, no thanks! You can easily purchase these shirts online. Bought the blue shirts from Kohls, the blue slippers from Gordmans, and I think we got the red tights from Frederick's.
