Ben bir dağım, sesim, sözüm yârin sedasıdır, yârin sözüdür. Ben bir resimim, benim ressamım o güzeldir. Sen sanıyor musun ki, konuştuğum zaman ağzımdan çıkan sözler, benim sözümdür. Hayır; anahtar kilide sokulurda açılırken ses çıkarır ya, işte benim sözlerim böyledir. Hz. Mevlânâ (k.s)

A Dervish or Darvesh is someone treading a Sufi Muslim ascetic path or "Tariqah", who has taken vows of poverty & austerity. In this respect, Dervishes are most similar to mendicant friars in Christianity or Hindu/Buddhist/Jain sadhus. They first appeared in the 12th century; were noted for their wild or ecstatic rituals & were known as dancing, whirling, or howling dervishes according to the practice of their order. (Dervish Iran, early 20th century)
