Beautiful wooden seaside mansions, called "Yali," dot the shoreline, and many of them have been turned into boutique hotels. Among them, Zeki Pasa Yalisi, built by Ottoman-French architect Alexandre Vallaury, is one of the most magnificent mansions of Bosphorus—and one of the few masonry mansions.
