Add to this an easy triple-wedge heel, striped cuff, and a gorgeous tweed yarn, and you have a perfect sock for hiking a wooded trail or lounging by a crackling fire! JennyF's Music to my eyes
photo inspiration! Uses the Modicum Mitts pattern as inspiration. A Great way to use up odds and ends of sock yarn. Use a basic sock pattern (free in the shop!) and stripe away. Love the grey cuff and toes
Summer Sporty Ankle Socks pattern by Belinda Hope
These socks are ideal for summer sports – they are smooth on the top, and have a twisted rib sole and heel for extra support where you need it. Plus a cute picot cuff to show off in your shoes.
Show-off Stranded Socks
The show-off in the name refers to showing off your yarn, especially if it’s variegated. The pattern stitch is fun and easy and looks pretty in almost all yarns. In order to make the pattern more interesting, I used a different architecture - the gusset is knitted at the same time as the heel “flap” which is done in the main pattern stitch. Instructions for 3 different gusset patterns are included.
