Kinship Stories: Tribal art necklace whose base is made of a sterling silver chain from Nepal (925k). Dangling are turquoise beads and a piece of Turkoman applique. It comes from an old baby's hat. Attached to it are Egyptian tassels and Yemeni mixed silver beads (30k). The larger Uzbek tassel comes from an old wall hanging. The button is made of yak horns (bulls from the Himalayas). The two triangles are protective Afghani amulets. The necklace is a handmade, one-of-a-kind piece.
