Mid-50 mornings warming up to high-60s are my kind of days. With Fall comes, Halloween and I’m a big fan! Years ago, I made my son a frankenstein hat and I even sold a couple when I was selling my finished items.
Do you see that subtle texture? So much going on in this cowl, and so super easy to make. I wanted to give it lots of depth, so on top of using a textured stitch and variegated yarn, I also used two strands together to make it chunky. Besides, we all know how fast chunky yarns work up, so that’s always a plus!
These quick and easy crochet ear warmers are the best! They’re so easy to make (very suitable for a beginner crocheter!) and they are a great stash buster! this is by far the easiest and quickest project I’ve ever done! So whether you are brand new to crochet or have been in the game for a while, this project will take little time (and yarn!).
I think the whole concept of the messy bun hat is, you don’t have time to wear your hair down so you throw it up, put on your hat, and get out the door! It makes you look like you made an effort, but in reality the hat does all the work. If you don’t have time to get all dolled up to leave the house, chances are you don’t have too much time to whip up a hat either.. SO of course, I had to make a very quick and easy tutorial on how to get one of these babies done in a short amount of time
