Once @xeniatelier (my twin and guide) told about the concept I started to see the stations everywhere and started chasing the stamps like Pokémons 🤣. The stamps are usually placed on a table near the gate (where you tap your train card/ tickets)! Just open your notebook and start stamping around! Every station has a stamp but you can even find them in some Ryokans, Onsens or even in a waterfall park like the 7-waterfall trail.
