Mehmet IV. (reg. 1648-1687) Besondere Leidenschaft hegte Mehmet IV. für die Jagd, die Regierungsgeschäfte überließ er eher den Großwesiren. Die Miniatur zeigt den thronenden Herrscher in Begleitung zweier Höflinge aus dem "Inneren Dienst" des Sultanspalastes.
