Another simple, inexpensive idea from we can do all things fine motor sorting. Great math Idea for color week

A Place Called Kindergarten: math.love this as a center for sorting shapes! (Could also make shape mats all white or black so the children are only using the shape without the color cues after they master it with colors)

Wooden Spoon DOLLS

These wooden spoon dolls could be adapted for plastic spoons and craft sticks using cupcake papers for skirts, bits of felt, yarn, chenille stems, etc.

Sort by color.  Just get an old shoe box and make the holes slightly larger than the colored objects.  Cover the box with colored paper and clear tape. I inserted dividers inside the box so I could check work upon completion. I bought the cylinders at the dollar spot in Target.
