October Writing Prompts
Engaging + (a little) spooky = fun writing prompts for October! But beware… these are NOT your ordinary story starters! 😉 👻 🎃 🍂 #thethinkerbuilder
Subjects & Predicates Interactive Slideshows
Lots of interactive practice in my sentence structure slideshows. This one uses hand signals to have students cut ✂️ apart the subject from the predicate. (This comes after detailed slides showing how to identify the subject and the predicate.) It gives teachers a quick formative assessment check before moving into the paper practice.
FUN DATA! "Pencil Data BUNDLE" {3 Data & Graphing Activities}

End of the Year Memory Book
I like how the scrapbook feel of this end-of-the-year memory book helps students add lots of details. The finished book makes a meaningful keepsake to remember their year together. Lots of fun page options, with portrait and landscape included. #thethinkerbuilder #memorybook #endofyearactivities

Mooseltoe Writing Craft
“Mooseltoe,” by Margie Palatini, is one of my favorite read alouds for the season, with its zany story and masterfully fun language. And this writing activity and 3D craft brings the character to life while having students do some fun how-to writing! It’s part of my literature unit for the book.
