Mid-sized ‘çevre’ (square kerchief; a decorative accessory for interiors, but also often used in the parade costume of the ‘Efe’; it then partly covers his weapons ). Circa 1900. Embroidered with ‘two-sided goldwork’ combined with the ‘tel kırma’ technique (geometrical motives obtained by sticking narrow metallic strips - often silver - through the fabric and folding them). All motifs are identical on both sides of the fabric.
