Kreighoff Luger Pistol - Seventy years ago, our GOTD was one of the rarer 9mm toggle-lock handguns in German military service. Suhl was the location of the Kreighoff factory, where about 11,000 P.08 pistols were made for the Luftwaffe and a couple of thousand more were built up from rejected parts for the commercial market. Today, collectors chase these Kreighoff Lugers when they surface as veteran’s “bring-backs” from the Second World War. NRA National Firearms Museum in Fairfax, VA.
