Entrance to Actun Tunichil Muknal (ATM cave) Belize.
Maya archaeological site that includes skeletons, ceramics, and stoneware. One in particular is the famous "Monkey Pot", one of only four located across Central America. The most famous of the human remains is known as "The Crystal Maiden", the skeleton of a teenage girl, probably a sacrifice victim, whose bones have been completely calcified by the natural processes of the cave, giving it a sparkling, crystallized appearance. There are several areas of skeletal remains in the main chamber.

Lush and Lacey
Mossbrae Falls, Dunsmuir, CA. Mossbrae Falls isn't all that notable a waterfall, at least in stature. It is, however, one of the most interesting waterfalls I've ever visited. There may be literally hundreds of different compositions available to the photographer at this site. The falls spring right out of the hillside in a wall of tiny rivulets over 300 feet wide and drop into the Sacramento River. This shot is obviously just a small part of the falls. I could have shot here for…
Our talents differ with the grace that is given us; if the talent is that of prophecy, let us employ it in proportion to our faith; if it is practical service, let us mind our service; the teacher must mind his teaching, the speaker his words of counsel; the contributor must be generous, the superintendent must be in earnest, the sick visitor must be cheerful. (Romans 12:6-8)
This is a photograph of Svartifoss falls in Skaftafell National Park, Iceland. I suspect the rate of water flow is greater earlier in the year rather than a trickle as now. It was a great experience hiking up to this region all the same with its basalt stone pillars and scattered rocks.
