Creating a floor plan for your room
This week in the #MBRKidsDesignCamp we’ll be putting the laptops aside and drawing a sketch floor plan with accurate measurements of their chosen room. ✏️ Our Head of Design, will walk participants through the process of sketching a floor plan and also take them through a 'furniture schedule' where they can decide which items of furniture they'll keep in the new design! We’ve loved filming with West Elm UK today! Our Head of Design Lucy, #MBRDesigner Claire and Personal Shopper Remy, loved discussing their fav trends. Lucy discussed mixing materials in furniture such as timber and marble, while Claire shared her passion for fluted furniture as she loves how they add depth and interest to a space and Remy shared how she loves using soft furnishings to bring warm tones into a scheme!
