Voice Levels Poster / behavior management / classroom discipline Great example, but I would have students draw what the faces and voices look like (such as partners leaning in to talk and a presenter standing up straight).
Building rainbows for good behavior! If a child is caught going the extra mile for good behavior, he/she can earn a piece for their rainbow. At the end of the week, if the rainbow is complete, the child will get to choose a prize from the treasure box.
This would make a great procedure (Harry Wong). Count to five or hold up one finger at a time when the class needs to refocus. Discuss what occurs for each number at the beginning of the school year and eventually the reaction will be automatic.
Cute saying to get kids listening and not playing with things while doing so. Free poster from Simply Kinder! Will use this as we're lining up to leave the classroom but will change head to hips since we do hips & lips in the hallways!
