Using Mirrors in the Garden
MIRRORS ON YOUR PATIO/DECK. Using a large mirror on the wall of your home, a fence, etc can easily enlarge a small area. Look at the effect this mirror has on this small space. For a minute, just imagine if it wasn't there; it would look rather tiny. You may go through a lot of windex, but the result is well worth it!
City garden inspiration
Mini Manhattan garden At just 1,200 square feet, this is the second smallest house in Manhattan. When two architects, Anne Fairfax and Richard Sammons, bought it, they transformed it to create a bijou interior with a sense of spaciousness that belies its exterior appearance. Leading out of the kitchen is a small enclosed garden with ivy topiary.
