Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) is a problem in which women's hormones are out of balance. Can be associated with problems such as irregular menstrual cycles (Often women have fewer than nine periods a year, have no periods or very heavy bleeding), excessive hair growth on the face and body (Often thicker and darker facial hair), Thinning hair on the scalp, acne, weight gain and trouble losing weight, Fertility problems, Depression and an increased risk of diabetes (insulin resistance).
