Balik Ekmek (literally "fish and bread") is a fish sandwich served in small boats and little buffets in Eminönü around the Galata Bridge. A regular sandwich consists of one small fried fish, slices of tomatoes and onion. However, the taste is beyond expectations for such a basic menu. The price is around 5 TL. Blue Mosque, Istanbul..... The Sultan Ahmed Mosque is an historic mosque in Istanbul. The mosque is popularly known as the Blue Mosque for the blue tiles adorning the walls of its interior. It was built from 1609 to 1616, during the rule of Ahmed I. Its Külliye contains a tomb of the founder, a madrasah and a hospice.
