Mercury can be seen in the evening twilight and the morning, this led ancient Greek astronomers to believe the planet was separated in two. They called them Hermes (evening) and Apollo (morning). Mercury is the ruler of Gemini, which is the zodiac of duality, and also of Virgo. Its detrimental zodiac is Aquarius.
