Bannock 3 cups all-purpose flour 1 teaspoon salt 2 tablespoons baking powder cup butter, melted 1 cups water.not all bannock has butter in it,but this one does and its very good!

FRIED BREAD  Ingredients: 2 cups all-purpose flour 1 tablespoon baking powder 1/2 teaspoon salt 1-1/2 tablespoons lard, melted (butter may be substituted) 1/2 cup warm water 1/4 cup room temperature milk 4 cups oil for deep frying  Directions:

Utah Scones (not to be confused with scones anywhere else). Perhaps similar to Navajo fry bread, but not the same. Slather on the honey butter while it's hot. If in Utah, be sure to visit a Sconecutter (fast food restaurant) for one.

Fifteen years ago my dad remarried to a woman with Native American roots. Every time we visit she always makes this special Traditional Indian Fry Bread.
