Pattern I VEGAS Top

The VEGAS top is an airy, light, short-cut summer top and looks particularly good in combination with high-waisted trousers and skirts. It is knitted top-down so that the length can be individually adjusted if necessary.

The front and back parts are worked flat, in RS- and WS rows, up to the end of the armholes, first the back part, then the front part. The body is worked in rounds, then the neckline and armholes are edged with a simple I-cord

Techniques used: Provisional CO, left- and right leaning increases, I-Cord BO. All techniques used are explained in the instructions.

The top sits close to the body and is worn with about 0 - 2 cm/0 – 0.8 in. of "positive ease" or 2 cm/0.8 in. of "negative ease". With a length of 1.76 m/5.75 feet and a chest circumference of 88 cm/34.5 in., I wear the top here in size S. If you like it more relaxed, you can of course plan a little more freedom of movement.

200 (250) 250 (300) 350 (400) g ‚Cosma‘ by Lamana (60 % Cotton, 40 % Modal; 100 m/50 g).

/ Needles:

80 -120 cm/32-47 in. circ. ndls, size 4,0 mm (US 6/UK 8)

50-60 cm/20-24 in. circ. ndls, size 3,0 mm (US 2 or 3/UK 11) for the I-Cord edging

/Gauge/Tension

St st in rows, using 4,0 mm size ndls: 19 sts x 25 rows = 10 x 10 cm/4” square (blocked).
