Phoneme Phonics Word List

These word lists can be used in combination with any phonics program but align closely with the Orton Gillingham (OG) program. The key words and rules for each phoneme are on the card as well as the words in that phoneme pattern. Use these cards on your word wall or focus wall. Print and laminate copies to put in your word work or writing centers where students can practice writing and spelling the words you are learning. Shrink the size of the posters and send them home for parents to help their child with reading and spelling words. Put the lists in a book for students to use as a dictionary. These posters have been invaluable to my students when they are stuck on a word while reading or writing independently. They can simply look at the wall, or use their mini cards that I put on a ring to find the correct sounds using the key words. 48 different phoneme word cards are included! If the phoneme has 2 sounds, like ea and oo have different posters for each sound as they have different key words. If there are any edits that would help you please let me know.
