The basic rule that I found for a chandelier above a dining table was to hang 30 to 36 inches above the dining table. Keep in mind this was referring to a room with 8-foot ceilings. In a room with higher ceilings, you would go up an additional 3 inches higher for every added foot of height. #diningroom #table #chairs #rug
