minimalist house // RUFproject have designed the renovation of the W38th Residence in Vancouver, Canada, that features exterior timber slats that wrap around the outside of the home. The timber slats provide shade and privacy to the large windows, and are mounted to a minimal steel frame that's suspended from the roof.
Minimalist House // Northern Rivers Beach House By refresh*design. Using steel for the major structural elements, and timber for the secondary structure, a very economical and bridge-like architecture was created to inspire a soaring visual effect. Working with a small budget required the use of innovative or unconventional details to achieve the desired design outcome.
