Flashlight Word Game
Boring list of sight words for homework? No problem. This flashlight game is way more fun. I came up with this game when my son was in kindergarten and wasn't too thrilled about the prospect of writing a list of words over and over again. He'd much rather play a game. And you know what? It worked! He knew his list of words in no time and we've been playing it ever since. My six-year-old daughter and I are playing it now, as she learns to read. It's so much fun!
