Many of may feel like this little jaw fish right about now: Is it time? I'm ready. I wanna come out. I wann go diving! #oceanlife #jawfish #seaofcortez #explorebaja #underwaterphotography

While we all miss getting wet, or staying dry, you can still use this time to practice SCUBA skills on land. Getting comfortable handling and deploying a DSMB (delayed surface marker buoy or signal tube) on the surface makes doing underwater easier. Keep in contact with your gear. Take it easy and out and practice with it. The blue will be calling us again soon my friends. #practice #scubagear #dsmb #fingerspool

Right about now, we've usually already spent a couple days at the local watering hole. Seeing these images keeps me hopeful for the day we shall return. I am around and stopping by the shop. If you need gear serviced, interested in some video learning or want to get ahead on your eLearning, please let me know. Stay Safe. Stay Sane. Stay SCUBA (yeah, that didn't work, but you get it). #localdiving #lakediving #drysuitdiving #summertime #divebuddy

Bringing back Sunday Funday so when things open back up, we're not rusty. Looking forward to devouring this deliciousness the same way this Great Hammhead seems to be looking forward to devouring Abhi. Turns out she was just posing. #bbq #kabobs #greathammerhead #bimini #sundayfunday #divetrip

These furry little anemone crabs always entertain me. They are a fun challenge in photography. This was shot on a shore dive from Blue Angel Resort in Cozumel. #anemone #crab #shoredive #cozumelmexico #divetravel

The candy crab, Hoplophrys oatesi, grows up to 2cm and lives on various soft coral species in the Dendronephthya genus. They are also knows as Commensal Soft Coral Crabsa and Oate's Soft Coral Crab, but candy crab sounds cooler. #candycrab #macrophoto #philippines🇵🇭 #crab #softcoral

Most new divers rely on their hands for control. The problem I find is the more we use our hands when we dive the more out of buoyancy control we are. Our hands are a natural way to achieve balance and control on land so it makes sense to use them under water. A simple exercise to practice is every time you find yourself using your hands, stop and make the necessary buoyancy adjustment whether it is in your lungs or in your BCD. #goodbuoyancy #scubadiving #buoyancycontrol #divetraining

Laomenes Amboinensis (ambom crinoid shrimp, featherstar shrimp) are found in waters off Indonesia, Philippines, Queensland, New Caledonia, the Marshall Islands, the Ryuku Islands and Papa New Guinea. They are tiny little critters often less than an inch long. #amboncrinoidshrimp #philippines🇵🇭 #scubadive #underwaterphotography

The Flamboyant Cuttlefish, metasepia pfefferi, is a species of cuttlefish found in tropical Indo-Pacific waters off north Australia, southern Guinea, as well as numerous islands of the Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia. The colorful flesh of this cephalapod contains unique acids, making it unsuitable for consumption. #cuttlefish #philippines #macrounderwaterphotography #keldan #seaandsea #canon

The end of a wonderful week with our amazing crew at Ramon's. Spotted eagle rays, reef sharks, nurse sharks, eels, turtles, squids, octopus and more. I'm looking forward to getting back on the travel wagon. #belize #ambergriscaye #divetrip #caribbean

We recently returned from a week at Ramon's Village Resort on Ambergris Caye, Belize. Yes, I now wish I was stuck in there with these friendly nurses of the sea. One of the few places I've been where the nurse sharks are constantly out swimming and with you the entire dive. #olympustg6 #nurseshark #belize #ambergriscaye #divetrips

In these cold painful days I dream of fire 🔥🔥🔥 This little beauty is a Bearded Fireworm shot on the Blue Angel Resort house reef. Fireworms are a type of marine bristleworm and are native to the Tropical Atlantic and Mediterranean Sea. On average, they are about 6 inches (15 cm) in length but can get up to almost 12 inches (30 cm). Their body consists of 60 to 150 identical segments separated by a thin white line and protected by cuticles. They are not considered a threat to divers unless yo
