The view of Cemberlitas (Constantine's Column) in 1880/s, Istanbul. It was first built in Rome at 328 AD., by Roman Emperor Constantine the 1st. Then had brought the column pieces by ships through the seaway to Constantinopolis (later Istanbul) and was erected in its place now. According to the beliefs, some sacred relics from different religions were buried into the ground pedestal of the column. One of them was the chalice of "Jesus" in the "Last Supper" that, he had his last wine.
