There are three different designs available to suit a range of abilities and include a tawny owl feather (easiest) a jay feather (intermediate) and a swan feather (hardest). All designs use a range of decorative embroidery stitches and goldwork techniques including couching metal threads, or nué, chipping, cutwork, padding and silk shading.
