Hi 👋 We're Anti-Diet Dietitians!
Remember that foods are not "good" or "bad", "healthy" or "unhealthy". Food is food. Chocolate is chocolate, not 'junk' or a 'guilty pleasure'. ALL foods can fit into a healthy lifestyle. If you are sick and tired of diet culture telling you otherwise then follow us for more anti-diet content :)
Listening to diet talk be like...
What if we told you that you CAN eat all foods? Delicious potatoes included 🥔 Work with an intuitive eating dietitian to explore your relationship with food and give yourself unconditional permission to eat ALL foods. #intuitiveeating #intuitiveeatingdietitian #intuitivekids #intuitiveeater #foodfreedom #antidietculture
🚩🚩🚩 It doesn't matter what you call, a diet is a diet.
Diets are short-term, unsustainable, and restrictive. They often lead to more harm than good and can wreak havoc on your physical, mental, and emotional health including increasing the risk of developing an eating disorder. Trust us, you don't need another diet.
Numbers don't define you
Eating Disorders affect everyone. They affect people of all genders, sexual orientations, ages, socioeconomic classes, abilities, races, and ethnic backgrounds. EVERYONE. At any given time, over 1,000,000 people in Canada meet the criteria for an eating disorder diagnosis (NEDIC, 2023). Yet, many do not receive appropriate, timely, or specialized treatment to meet their needs. 👉 Many need help that just isn’t there.
