"Arşivde hiçliğe dair birşeye rastlanılmadı, çünkü hiçlik üzerine yazılı bir kitapta hiçliği arama gafletine düşüldü. Aynı zamanda son sayfada birkaç damla silikleşmiş kan izi ve görünmez mürekkep ile yazılmış kısa bir cümle bulundu: "night falls, darkness emerges". Grafoloji raporunda bu cümleyi yazan kişinin furkânîlik arşivini yazan kişiyle aynı olmadığı ortaya çıktı. Cümlenin yazarının kim olduğu gizemini koruyor (yine ne saçmalıyorum ben)
