Ossie Clark. 1960s British fashion icon. His work featured in highly acclaimed magazines at a young age, such as Vogue. His designs here are reminiscent of the Mod Era.

Monokini. Originally a design by designer Rudi Gernreich in 1964, who created a topless swimsuit to protest against societal standards of dress in women. He made the monokini more commerically viable and covered the breasts. Here is an example of a 1970s monokini.
Punk Fashion. This is an image of the early 1970s. I chose this image because I feel like it replicates the era of punk fashion in the 70s. The hair styles, leather jackets, dramatic hemlines, jewelry and even pose is very punk.
Issey Miyake. Japanese fashion designer, known for his works of symmetry and rigid lines. His fashion creations are influenced by technology and textiles. He is also famous for his fragrances.
Zandra Rhodes's other passion: interior design
Zandra Rhodes's. British fashion Icon in the 1970s. Worked in high fashion, creating a sort of punk look, with bright colors and patterns. She dressed many celebrities and royal families. She is currently pursuing interior designs.
Hot Pants. Shorts worn in the 1960s and 1970s that were very short. A popular garment in this era, they are cut very high and thought to have been modeled after the miniskirt.

Mary McFadden. American fashion designer. She is the Vice President of the Board of Directors for the Council of Fashion Designers of America (CFDA). She currently designs for several lines.
Granny Dress. Popular style of dress in the 1970s. Women chose to wear this as a new pattern, a dress with a high neck and usually long silhouette.
Glam Rock. I can't think of Glam Rock in the 1960s and 70s without thinking of David Bowie his alias Ziggy Stardust, icon of glam rock. Glam Rock was made popular by Rock music, such as amazing artists: Roxy Music & T. Rex. I love this era and the fashion designs inspired by it.
Leisure Suit. A suit worn in the 1970s by men. This a more casual look, worn with bright colors and patterns. The suit is composed of a pants and a suitjacket that matched.
