In an attempt to immortalize his name, he burnt down the temple in Ephesus, one of the seven wonders of the world. – Well, what was the name of the temple's architect? – I don't remember, he confessed. I even do not suppose his name is known. – Really? But you remember name of Herostratus. You see, he might not have miscalculated his actions… (Jean-Paul Sartre, "Erostratus", Le Mur) Samos, Newcastle, Hotels, Antalya, Day Trip, Naples, Tours, Kusadasi

Catalhoyuk have almost 1000 houses which is estimated to had housed between 5000-8000 people simultaneously. However, all the building are same in terms of size and the facilities and no proof telling a class differentiation is unearthed up to date. In this sense, Catalhoyuk is considered as one of the most ancient example of a type of self-governance without being in need of a government. The idea of “Statelessness” seems to have a longer history than we generally assume. Maya, War, Fair Grounds, Ancient Humans, Memorial Architecture, Research Projects
