Ottoman kalij, the damascus steel blade is Persian and inscribed in gold:Amal-e Assadollah (The work of Assadollah) and the other Bande-ye Shah Velayat Abbas (The servant/representative of the king of the country [referring to Imam Ali] Abbas, the handle is most probably of rhino horn slabs, crossguard is typical Ottoman and made of brass, 18th century or earlier blade, mounts 18th to 19th century.
