I could use this activity as an ice breaker for the first week of school or as a classroom community builder. I could have the students sit in a circle or break them up into small groups and work on the ice breaker together.
Great "get to know you" game. Everyone scoops a small dixie cup full of m’s. One at a time picked out a single m, and shared a thought that correlated with the color of the candy and the chart (ice breaker, not craft; large or small group)
Just made this Question ball. While in a circle, Have students say the name of the person he/she is throwing to (to practice learning names). The person who catches it says their name again and answers whatever question their right thumb lands on.
