This is the third version of daffodils I made. The base petals are wider in this version and the bead stitch on the edge of the centre petals gives somewhat romantic feelings to it. One complete stem takes about 60 – 90 minutes to make.
This piece of material is called a Jabot, which was an frill attached to front of shirt that poured out at neckline of waistcoat. More of the upperclass men wore these, then woman actually started to add them onto their dresses as well.
